Uh oh, you found the secret stash

In addition to my day job, I also run a blog called MassHipHop that displays up and coming hip hop artists from Massachusetts.

Email Marketing

Below are a few emails that I designed while working at CommCreative over the past 6 years.

Joslin Diabetes Center: Newsletter

Joslin Diabetes Center was in serious need of a redesign for their “Joslin Cares enews” newsletter. The direction was to keep it professional looking but not boring. The use of bright colors and dynamic shapes in the header adds fresh look while the rest of the layout is clean and organized. I kept the titles and body copy in Arial so Joslin could easily edit the stories each month.

Savings Bank Life Insurance: Financial Tools

SBLI needed a template designed for an email marketing campaign offering potential prospects useful tools to help educate them on purchasing life insurance, but more importantly interest them taking action in getting a quote or talking to an agent. This flexible design allows for a number of different messaging tools.

RoninBackup: Email Offer

Email marketing layout for RoninBackup, a premier online data backup solution for professional services firms. I also designed the logo for RoninBackup with some direction from the owner.

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center: Heartmail

The CardioVascular Institute at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center needed a friendly layout for their e-newsletter, HeartMail. My responsibilites for this project included visual design and development of the newsletter, as well as building the web pages that included each of the stories. The pages reside on bidmc's website and in order to create them I had to learn their content management system, Sitecore. I can't take credit for "Happy Heart", the character illustration. That was drawn by my co-worker Mark Selewacz. You can visit Mark's portfolio here.

McLean Hospital

Email to promote an interactive discussion between those interested in graduate school and those who are currently clinicians at McLean Hospital. The direction for this project was to be bright and contemporary in order to attract college students.
